A river with flowing rapids, some well positioned rocks to stabilize the camera, a bridge to darken the water and all the conditions were met to create an environment for playing at capturing abstract photos with long exposures.

Wow, you have done it again! It is like a painting, or beautiful flowing hair…amazing!
Thanks Mel for your appreciation. I am glad you enjoyed these photos. We certainly had fun capturing them. We were driving back from Portland, ME and needed a break to stretch our legs and so we stopped when we saw this pretty river.
Love both of them. The texture and sense of movement are wonderful.
Thanks Jacqui. The first one is mine and the second Pierre’s. We used different exposures which gives different feel to the flowing water.
These are amazing …. like a horses mane flowing in the wind
Thanks Osyth. Glad you enjoyed these pictures. I really like your imagery…very poetic!
Thank you …. I can do words!
Love these long exposures!
Thanks for your note. We had the perfect condition to play around with long exposure and we were quite pleased with the results.
Beautifully done
Thanks Helen. Glad you enjoyed this series.
