Another day spent at the beach although the temperature was a little chilly and the wind was quite strong. However, we managed to find a sheltered corner away from the wind and Pierre even managed to go swimming. After the beach, we took the road to make stops and admire the pretty fishing harbour of Malpeque and the countryside of the region.

Love the reds in this series. Feels like the colours are getting more intense as the weather gets cooler. Beautiful!
Thanks Mel. Glad you enjoyed this series.
A visit to Malpeque and no oysters? low tide and no clams? These photos made me hungry… for more photos.
Thanks Jacqui. Pierre would have liked a few oysters but there weren’t many little shacks selling them. Still more photos coming from our trip but it is almost over…
Now this series I just love ….. the red sands, the squidgy mud at low tide, the buildings, the weatherboard. So evocative.
Thanks Osyth. The red sand is quite beautiful. Glad you enjoyed this series.
I only know Malpeque by their oysters … and yummy they are 🙂
I love the cliffs on the beach of the 2nd and 3rd photo!
Thanks Joanne. Glad you enjoyed this series…

Thanks Julia. Glad you enjoyed this series. We quite enjoyed the fishing village that day…
