For our last morning in the Blue Mountains, we chose an easier hike than the day before and did another section of Prince Henry Cliff Walk from Katoomba to Leura from where we took the train back to Sydney. The day was gray but the rain didn’t arrive until we returned to Sydney. The highlights of this hike are the Leura falls and cascades as well as the view from the Bridal Veil Lookout.

Still lots of stairs which in many ways help make the route easier but… And the colours! Spectacular.
Thanks Jacqui. The stairs weren’t too bad on this hike (we were quite used to them by this 3rd hike!) and it was another lovely hike. Blue Mountains is a wonderful area and we could have spent more time there but we had to move on to the next stage of our trip.
Such interesting textures and shapes.
Thanks Anabel. Glad you enjoyed this post. It was such a beautiful place. We could have spent more time in the Blue Mountains but we had to move on.
Wonderful! Some of the pictures made me feel quite giddy. I also loved the views, the stairs and the textures.
Thanks for your note. So glad to hear you enjoyed this post.
The rocks and plants there are like nothing else on Earth. Took my breath away when I was there, and it still does. Great photographs.
Thanks Sherry. I totally agree with you… glad you enjoyed this new set of photos.
Reblogged this on retireediary and commented:
