To end this series of posts on our stay in Playa del Carmen, we offer you a final series of photos of the beautiful beaches of the Riviera Maya. From sunrise to sunset, the beaches were as beautiful as ever with ever-changing skies.
We say goodbye to you until our next adventures which we hope will be soon!
Nos ombres au coucher de soleil / Our shadows at sunset.
Nous deux bien bronzés à la fin de notre séjour / Us with a great tan at the end of our stay.

An enjoyable series… thanks for sharing your trip … the timing has been a perfect distraction from the cold winter.
Thanks Eliza. Glad it was a good distraction…It is very cold here and for the next few days before our first big storm on Monday. Hopefully, the temperatures will be back to a more decent level…
Those beaches warmed me up a bit on this cold January day! Great series. Hope travel is possible again soon.
Thanks Jacqui. I saw that you are getting very unusual cold weather in Vancouver. I hope it gets better soon. It is cold here as well and we are getting our first big snow storm on Monday…Glad these images gave you some warmth. We are also hoping to travel soon. We haven’t booked anything yet but if the situation permits it we will go somewhere…
I love all the photos here. But if I had to choose, the third one with the sun rising from the horizon would be my favorite. I haven’t seen a sunrise like that in person for a long time. And I agree with Marie — it’s nice to see a photo of both of you. (I’m happy I still understand much of the French here.) I wish you both good health and more travels in 2022!
Thanks Bama. Sunrises are always fun and at that time of the year not too early…Glad you enjoyed this new series of images. Glad you were able to read the portion in French; good for you! Best wishes to you and your family for 2022 and I also hope you will get to travel this year…
Nice to see you sign off with a photo of you both — happy and healthy!
Thanks Mel. We were indeed quite relax and happy to be in a different region of the world. Though now we look at these sunny pictures and miss the warm temperatures as it is currently freezing cold right now in Montreal.
Ah,to be beside the sea…..
Thanks Sue. We do miss it too especially as it is quite cold right now in Montreal. Hopefully, 2022 will bring more travel that will allow us to be by the sea once more.
I hope you can!
Beautiful captures, your entire series on your adventure to Playa del Carmen was fabulous!
BTW, love those tans and that happy photo of you both!
Thanks Donna. Glad you enjoyed our pictures. We don’t post pictures of us very often as we aren’t into selfies much but from time to time we like to show that there are real people behind this blog…
Thanks Donna. Glad you enjoyed the virtual tour of Playa del Carmen. I wish I was still there as it is quite cold right now (actually frigid!)…
I was thinking I wish I was there…..but not if it’s cold, lol. I’ll keep the images you both took in my dreamy mind. 🙂
Oops…din’t express myself clearly. We are now in Montreal where it is extremely cold. I believe it is still quite warm in Playa del Carmen. It seems to be 28C everyday so I truly wish I was there right now and not in Montreal
Oh my, you’re colder than us right now. Ok, back to wishing I was in Playa del Carmen! 🙂
Yes…right now it is -20C; -31C with windshield…very cold and being at Playa del Carmen would be much better!
super post
Thanks for your note. Glad you enjoyed this series of images.
All lovely, though my favourites are the sunrise ones. And of course, you and Pierre looking so bronzed and happy. Quite jealous, because I just turn lobster pink.
Thanks Anabel. The sunrise was pretty. We are lucky that our skin turn brown and not pink (Pierre more than me) and we are very careful not to overdo it in limiting the number of hours in the sun and going out mostly in the morning and then late in the afternoon.
J’aime Beaucoup !!
It is beautiful. Sorry I have so irregular. With work and my 2 yrs old, it is so difficult to make time for writing.
Thanks for note and don’t worry about not visiting often as I completely understands. I am not very active either…
